Lambesc, Charles-Eugène de Lorraine, Prince of: Born into a family of very high nobility, this brigadier in the Royal-Allemand regiment became famous after he ordered his troops to charge on the mob of insurgents at the Tuileries on July 12, 1789. Accused of crimes of treason for these events, he was acquitted, before being exiled.
